Meet Our Spring 2017 Neos: Trevor Queen, “SoundKloud”!

Trevor Queen


Brother Trevor Queen, a native of Annapolis, MD, is a recent graduate of Morehouse College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During his matriculation, Brother Queen served as President and Tour Manager of the world renowned Morehouse College Glee Club, a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, Inc., a Chairman of the Student Government Association’s Scholarship Committee and a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In addition to his coursework at Morehouse, Mr. Queen also had the opportunity to study abroad in 11 countries through two winter voyages, where he studied Social Problems in Latin America and Communications in Europe.

In 2012, prior to attending Morehouse, Trevor Queen was awarded with the Gates Millennium Scholarship Award. This award, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is an extraordinary scholarship that is given to 1,000 students annually and covers academic costs from undergraduate to doctoral studies. As the only Gates Millennium Scholar from the city of Annapolis, Mr. Queen has become very passionate about educational advocacy and he is on a mission of using his scholarship to the fullest so that he will be able to help create educational opportunities for underprivileged and minority students.

Brother Queen is currently a graduate student at Teachers College, Columbia University, where he will receive his Master of Arts in Education Policy.
